There's... [ And he hesitates. But it's something Ion would find out about eventually. ] another one here like you. He goes by Ion. And... other replicas, too. There's a bunch of people here from lots of different worlds. Your world isn't the only one where there are replicas.

[ Sorry that he isn't really explaining the "Luceti" thing well but he's from a place where people can go between different worlds. It doesn't really occur to him to explain it. ]

So there's a lot? Really? [he thinks hard on this for a moment--the mention of other worlds is confusing, but he can work on one thing at a time.]

...Is this where replicas go when they die?

[ He manages to hold his tongue before asking the obvious, yet probably painful, question that would normally follow the other's. ]

No. This is Luceti. It's... a world that seems to pull people in at random. There's people from all sorts of worlds. Not just... [ Arg, what did Ion say the name of his world was again? ] Not just Auldrant. And not everyone here is a replica. There's only a few of us.

[did he ask something strange? he's not sure. but still...he looks around in a lost sort of manner.]

So this is another world..? I don't think that's ever happened to me before.

[ Considering he just kind of implied that he died right before showing up here... ]

... Are you cold? We should find you better clothes...

[the mention of cold reminds him that yes, he is indeed cold.

I don't know where these clothes came from...does everybody wake up like this?

Yeah. [ Well uh. Usually the clothes are more appropriate to one's gender but maybe the Malnosso just got confused or something. And any rate, he needs better clothes than that sundress. ]

The clothing shop is this way. [ He indicates towards the center of the village. ] What's your name?

[he gives a little nod at that, looking curiously in that direction. how far away is that shop..?]

My name's Florian. What's your name?

I'm Kohan. [ Man, now he has an idea of what it was like for all those people who spoke to both him and Riku. ]

Come on, I'll show you where the shop is. [ And he starts heading in the direction he pointed, though not without checking that Florian is following. ]

Kohan. Okay.

[he repeats the name for confirmation, nodding to himself as he does so, and starts to follow obediently behind him.]

[ Then we are walking along, yay! ]

Did you just get here?

Mmhm. I was in Daath, and then suddenly I woke up here.

Have you been here a long time?

... Yeah. A really long time.

We get experimented on here, but aside from that, I don't think this is such a bad place.

...I don't know about experiments, but if it's not a bad place then I'm glad. It would be sad if everyone was here for so long and it wasn't a nice place to live.

... You'll find out about the experiments later. For now you can just worry about warming up and finding a place to go. We're about halfway to the clothes store right now.

[...being told he'll find out later is only making him curious. but warm clothes are a sufficient distraction, and he turns his attention to the buildings ahead.]

Stores need money right? I don't have any of that.

Oh, right. Everything's free here. There's no money or anything.

It's nice. Oh, the clothes shop is that one. [ He points to the building he's leading Florian towards. ] Are you doing alright?

That one? [looking curiously at the building.] Everything looks really different from Daath...I'm alright though. When we get clothes then I won't be cold anymore, right?

Right. And you can stay inside if you're not warm enough.

... Have you never been cold before?

I've been cold before. It was cold in that place where I had to read the score. I wasn't there for very long though.

[ ... okay. That at least answered his question. Rep opens the door and enters the shop, then holds it open for Florian.

Sure enough, it's warm inside, with aisles of plenty of clothes of all sizes. ]

You can just pick out whatever you like. The clothes you were wearing when you came here might be here, too.

[oh, yes, that's a nice change from the cold outdoors. florian happily starts wandering around the store, looking for--well, looking for his old clothes, really. the large amount of things is a little overwhelming, and so it's much easier to focus on something familiar.]
