I don't know where these clothes came from...does everybody wake up like this?

Yeah. [ Well uh. Usually the clothes are more appropriate to one's gender but maybe the Malnosso just got confused or something. And any rate, he needs better clothes than that sundress. ]

The clothing shop is this way. [ He indicates towards the center of the village. ] What's your name?

[he gives a little nod at that, looking curiously in that direction. how far away is that shop..?]

My name's Florian. What's your name?

I'm Kohan. [ Man, now he has an idea of what it was like for all those people who spoke to both him and Riku. ]

Come on, I'll show you where the shop is. [ And he starts heading in the direction he pointed, though not without checking that Florian is following. ]

Kohan. Okay.

[he repeats the name for confirmation, nodding to himself as he does so, and starts to follow obediently behind him.]

[ Then we are walking along, yay! ]

Did you just get here?

Mmhm. I was in Daath, and then suddenly I woke up here.

Have you been here a long time?

... Yeah. A really long time.

We get experimented on here, but aside from that, I don't think this is such a bad place.

...I don't know about experiments, but if it's not a bad place then I'm glad. It would be sad if everyone was here for so long and it wasn't a nice place to live.

... You'll find out about the experiments later. For now you can just worry about warming up and finding a place to go. We're about halfway to the clothes store right now.

[...being told he'll find out later is only making him curious. but warm clothes are a sufficient distraction, and he turns his attention to the buildings ahead.]

Stores need money right? I don't have any of that.

Oh, right. Everything's free here. There's no money or anything.

It's nice. Oh, the clothes shop is that one. [ He points to the building he's leading Florian towards. ] Are you doing alright?

That one? [looking curiously at the building.] Everything looks really different from Daath...I'm alright though. When we get clothes then I won't be cold anymore, right?

Right. And you can stay inside if you're not warm enough.

... Have you never been cold before?

I've been cold before. It was cold in that place where I had to read the score. I wasn't there for very long though.

[ ... okay. That at least answered his question. Rep opens the door and enters the shop, then holds it open for Florian.

Sure enough, it's warm inside, with aisles of plenty of clothes of all sizes. ]

You can just pick out whatever you like. The clothes you were wearing when you came here might be here, too.

[oh, yes, that's a nice change from the cold outdoors. florian happily starts wandering around the store, looking for--well, looking for his old clothes, really. the large amount of things is a little overwhelming, and so it's much easier to focus on something familiar.]

I can take anything?

I think so. I guess... there might be another New Feather's clothes here or something, but usually there isn't any problem.

Oh, okay.

[after another moment he finds his outfit (almost identical to ion's), and goes to put it on. success!]

[ He's more surprised it's not exactly like Ion's, actually, but he won't be making a comment like that. ]

Is that better?

[he nods.]

Yeah, this is better. It's warmer than the other clothes.

That's good. Did you... happen to have a journal with you?

...You mean this one? [picking it up from where he'd left it on a shelf.]
