We can all have fun together if you want to! I know there's plenty of time to do that. [After all, experiments and drafts don't happen all that often, despite how horrible they usually are.]

Can we? I like having fun. Can we play tag?

Uh - Yeah, sure! [Man, he hasn't played tag since... well, maybe four or five years ago. But still!] Or... Hey, we could even play hide and seek! [Now that is a much more recent game. ~~And a game he can easily cheat at.~~]

Hide and seek? Is that like tag? [his knowledge of games is incredibly lacking.]

Well, you see... One person's "it". They have to hide their eyes and count to a certain number, usually ten or twenty or so. Depends on how big the playing field is. The other players go hide. Once the person stops counting, they go out to find the people hiding.

Oh, that sounds fun! I'd like to try that. I'm really good at hiding, you know.

Heh, I'm good at hiding, too. [Because he cheats. But he's not about to say that.] We should see who's the best at it someday!

Okay! We'll see who's the very best hider in the whole place. It'll be really fun! [what is cheating....]

Yeah! We could even get other people to play, too! [That way cheating is even easier!!]

Maybe we could get everybody in this whole place to play!

Well... I don't think everyone would want to play. Not everyone likes games like that.

No? Why not?

Some of them are kind of... grumpy. You know? [He makes a face over the journal. It looks a lot like an Asch face.] Like this.

...Oohhh. Grumpy people are kind of scary. I wish they wouldn't be so grumpy.

Tell me about it... Sometimes it just looks like they swallowed a bug.

[GRIN oh gosh if only Asch were around to smack him for that.]

Still, sometimes grumpy people can be pretty nice.

They can? I thought grumpy people were always angry.

Well... You can feel sad and stuff, right? So can grumpy people! It's just harder for them to be nice most of the time.

[And thinking on Asch again - ] Mostly because they're really stubborn and obnoxious.

... Heh heh. Really? [Well, that's one of the few times he's even been called that...]
