One time, on a mission, my teammate ate something that sort of looked like it was edible and he got a rash on the inside of his throat that was so bad, he needed medicine to be made just for his illness or else his body would start attacking himself. You'd be best to learn which plants are edible and which aren't, unless you want to take a risk like that.
