That would be quite the dilemma, especially if many people already know it. Then again, if others kept using it, there'd be no way to take it from you.

Because then everybody would know it's my name, right? So even if one person forgets it, everybody else will know! I like that.

Exactly. Is there anyone from your world who remembers that you received that name? Since they'd know it in both worlds, they'd validate it twice as much.
